Online Masters Degree Programs in Nursing Administration That are the Least Expensive

The average tuition charged by colleges in the US with online masters degree in nursing administration programs is $14,268 yearly. In recent years, the average tuition has increased by 57.9%. In 2007, the average tuition was $9,038 annually at these online schools.

At the high end, schools with online masters degree in nursing administration programs charge students more than $21,214 in tuition annually. The cheapest colleges and universities, however, charge students tuition ranging from $3,243 to $4,740 per annum. North Carolina and Texas are home to the most inexpensive accredited online nursing administration masters degree schools.

In 2011, of all nursing administration graduates with masters degrees from online colleges and universities in the nation, an estimated 26% earned credentials from these cheap programs. This represents 40,828 of the 158,100 graduates from around the US. From 2006 to 2011, the percentage of nursing administration graduates with masters degrees from the most inexpensive online colleges has decreased. However, the number of graduates has increased by 20,147 graduates per annum.

Yearly tuition in the range of $8,493 to $12,800 is charged by other somewhat more costly online nursing administration masters degree schools. A reported 3 of the 11 online schools with masters degrees in nursing administration programs in the US charge tuition in this range.

A reported 21.8%, or 34,500 of the nation’s nursing administration masters level graduates earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. In 2006, which was just 5 years earlier, only 24,305 students graduated from these schools. Thus, from these low tuition online colleges and universities, the number of graduates has increased by 42%.
