Online Certificate And Training Programs in Computer Programming That are Your Most Inexpensive Options

The median tuition charged by colleges in the US that offer online certificate and training in computer programming programs is $1,894 yearly. There has been a 50.3% increase in the median tuition over the past few years. At these online schools the median tuition annually in 2007 was $1,260.

Online training and certificate in computer programming colleges can also be referred to as programming colleges. The tuition range for colleges offering online computer programming programs at the training and certificate level is displayed in the following graph. Tuition is shown from the most to least costly colleges and universities.

A yearly tuition of over $4,439 is charged by the costliest online training and certificate in computer programming colleges and universities. The cheapest colleges and universities, on the other hand, require students to pay tuition in the range of $600 to $800 per year. Massachusetts and Texas are home to the lowest cost accredited online computer programming training and certificate schools.

In 2011, these low tuition programs graduated approximately 31% of computer programming graduates with certificate and training from online colleges and universities in the nation. Therefore, of the 18,264 graduates from around the US, 5,723 are from the least costly schools. From 2006 to 2011, the percentage of computer programming graduates with certificate and training from the most inexpensive online colleges and universities has decreased. However, the number of graduates has increased by 2,786 graduates each year.

Other somewhat more costly online computer programming training and certificate colleges charge a yearly tuition in the range of $1,462 to $1,894. Approximately 2 of the 7 online schools offering certificate and training in computer programming programs in the US charge tuition in this range.

Approximately 6,649 students earned their degrees from these low tuition online programs in 2011. This is 36% of the nation’s computer programming training and certificate level graduates.
