Schools around the country that offer online associates degree in political science programs charge an average tuition of $2,606 per year. In recent years, there has been a 15.2% increase in the average tuition. In 2007, the average tuition was $2,262 each year at these online colleges.

Tuition of more than $1,490 yearly is charged by the most expensive online associates degree in political science colleges. The cheapest schools, on the other hand, require students to pay annual tuition costs in the range of $698 to $728. The most inexpensive accredited online political science associates degree schools are located in California.

Between 2006 and 2011, the number of political science graduates with associates degrees from the least expensive online schools has increased by 820 graduates per year, while the percentage of graduates from these schools has decreased.
