Online Associates Degree Programs in Marketing That are the Least Expensive

Colleges in the US with online associates degree in marketing programs have a median tuition of $7,656 per year. The median tuition has increased over the past few years. This change in tuition was about 90.3%. In 2007, the median tuition at these online colleges was $4,023 annually.

The tuition range for colleges offering online marketing programs at the associates level is displayed in the following graph. Tuition is shown from the highest to lowest cost colleges and universities.

Tuition of more than $15,660 yearly is charged by the most expensive online associates degree in marketing colleges. On the other hand, tuition ranging from $576 to $2,568 yearly is charged by the cheapest schools. Kansas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ohio, and Wyoming are home to the least costly accredited online marketing associates degree schools.

In 2011, roughly 11% of marketing graduates with associates degrees from online colleges across the country earned credentials from these reasonably priced programs. This represents 22,585 of the 207,745 graduates from across the country. From 2006 to 2011, the percentage of marketing graduates with associates degrees from the most inexpensive online colleges has decreased. However, the number of graduates has increased by 4,794 graduates per annum.

Tuition ranging from $2,688 to $4,528 annually is charged by other somewhat more expensive online marketing associates degree colleges. Of the 58 online colleges and universities that offer associates degrees in marketing programs in the nation, 13 charge students tuition in this range.

A reported 23.5% of the nation’s marketing associates level graduates earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. This represents 48,887 students. The number of students graduating from these schools was only 38,992 students in 2006, which was just 5 years prior. Thus, the number of graduates from these low tuition online colleges has increased by 25%.
