The median tuition charged by colleges in the US offering online masters degree in higher education administration programs is $9,960 yearly. Over the past few years, the median tuition has increased. This change in tuition was about 19.3%. The annual median tuition at these online schools in 2007 was $8,352.

This represents 130,546 of the 280,934 graduates in the nation. Between 2006 and 2011, the percentage of higher education administration graduates with masters degrees from the lowest cost online colleges has increased, while the number of graduates has also increased by 42,507 graduates yearly.

Tuition ranging from $9,400 to $9,960 per annum is charged by other somewhat more expensive online higher education administration masters degree schools. Approximately 8 of the 20 online schools offering masters degrees in higher education administration programs in the US charge tuition in this range.

In 2011, 36,860 students received their credentials from these reasonably priced online programs. This represents 13% of the country’s higher education administration masters level graduates. Only 35,238 students earned credentials from these schools in 2006, which was just 5 years prior. This is a 5% increase in the number of students graduating from these reasonably priced online schools.
