On the other end of the spectrum, tuition in the range of $728 to $4,384 each year is charged by the cheapest schools. The accredited online education schools that are the most inexpensive are located in Arizona, California, Massachusetts, New Mexico, and Texas.

The number of graduates from these schools was only 1,386,337 students, just 5 years earlier, in 2006.
