From 2006 to 2011, the number of elementary education graduates with masters degrees from the least costly online colleges has increased by 27,972 graduates per annum. Also, the percentage of graduates from these colleges has increased.

Other somewhat more expensive cost online elementary education masters degree colleges charge students tuition ranging from $5,436 to $7,368 yearly. Approximately 8 of the 36 online schools offering masters degrees in elementary education programs in the US charge tuition in this range.

In 2011, 25.1% of the country’s elementary education masters level graduates received their credentials from these reasonably priced online programs. This represents 106,225 students. In 2006, which was only 5 years earlier, only 92,687 students graduated from these colleges. Thus, the number of graduates from these affordable online colleges has increased by 15%.
