An average tuition of $13,501 annually is charged by colleges in the US that offer online masters degree in accounting programs. In recent years, there has been a 13.8% increase in the average tuition. The per annum average tuition was $11,860 at these online colleges and universities in 2007.
Online masters degree in accounting colleges and universities are sometimes called CPA and accountancy colleges and universities. But, the cheapest colleges and universities charge per annum tuition costs in the range of $1,714 to $7,904. Florida, Massachusetts, New York, Utah, and Virginia are home to the least expensive accredited online accounting masters degree schools.

These cheap programs graduated an estimated 28% of accounting graduates with masters degrees from online schools around the US in 2011. This represents 250,965 of the 914,205 graduates from across the country. From 2006 to 2011, the percentage of accounting graduates with masters degrees from the most inexpensive online schools has decreased. However, the number of graduates has increased by 28,608 graduates per year.
Other somewhat more costly online accounting masters degree schools charge a yearly tuition in the range of $8,064 to $11,160. Of the 108 online colleges and universities with masters degrees in accounting programs in the nation, 36 offer programs with tuition in this range.
A reported 24.4%, or 222,978 of the nation’s accounting masters level graduates earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. The number of graduates from these schools was only 150,207 students, just 5 years earlier, in 2006. This is a 48% increase in the number of students graduating from these cheap online schools.
