Schools around the country with online bachelors degree in language programs have an average tuition of $11,739 per year. The average tuition has increased over the past few years. This change in tuition was about 12.4%. The yearly average tuition was $10,441 at these online colleges in 2007.

Tuition of more than $19,628 yearly is charged by the most expensive online bachelors degree in language colleges. The cheapest colleges and universities, on the other hand, require students to pay per annum tuition costs in the range of $1,454 to $5,124. The least expensive accredited online language bachelors degree schools are located in Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Utah, and West Virginia.

In 2011, these affordable programs graduated a reported 17% of language graduates with bachelors degrees from online colleges and universities in the nation. This represents 149,000 of the 868,947 graduates in the nation. Between 2006 and 2011, the number of language graduates with bachelors degrees from the least expensive online colleges and universities has increased by 2,741 graduates annually, while the percentage of graduates from these colleges and universities has decreased.

Yearly tuition in the range of $5,199 to $7,070 is charged by other somewhat more costly online language bachelors degree colleges and universities. Of the 48 online colleges and universities with bachelors degrees in language programs in the nation, 12 offer programs with tuition in this range.

Approximately 29.3% of the nation’s language bachelors level graduates earned their degrees from these low tuition online programs in 2011. This represents 254,676 students. In 2006, which was only 5 years earlier, the number of graduates from these colleges was as much as 260,138 students. Thus, the number of graduates from these low tuition online colleges has decreased by 2%.
