A median tuition of $16,238 annually is charged by colleges in the US offering online bachelors degree in chemistry programs. The median tuition has increased, over the past few years, by 22.1%. In 2007, the yearly median tuition was $13,298 at these online colleges.

Tuition of more than $27,950 per annum is charged by the most expensive online bachelors degree in chemistry colleges. The cheapest schools, on the other hand, require students to pay tuition in the range of $3,013 to $3,029 per year. Louisiana and North Carolina are home to the lowest cost accredited online chemistry bachelors degree schools.

Yearly tuition in the range of $3,530 to $5,461 is charged by other somewhat more costly online chemistry bachelors degree colleges. Of the 11 online colleges and universities with bachelors degrees in chemistry programs in the nation, 3 offer programs with tuition in this range.

A reported 63.7%, or 84,876 of the nation’s chemistry bachelors level graduates earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. The number of graduates from these colleges and universities was only 32,801 students, a short 5 years earlier, in 2006.
