This represents 11,241 of the 94,622 graduates from across the country. Between 2006 and 2011, the percentage of psychology graduates with associates degrees from the lowest cost online colleges and universities has decreased, while the number of graduates has increased by 4,144 graduates annually.
Other somewhat more expensive cost online psychology associates degree colleges and universities charge students tuition ranging from $2,707 to $4,560 annually. Tuition in this range is charged by 3 of the 13 online colleges with associates degrees in psychology programs in the country.
Approximately 15.5% of the nation’s psychology associates level graduates earned their degrees from these low tuition online programs in 2011. This represents 14,668 students. In 2006, which was only 5 years earlier, only 7,680 students graduated from these colleges. This represents a 91% increase in the number of graduates from these affordable online schools.
