A yearly average tuition of $14,559 is charged by schools with online masters degree in business programs around the country. There has been a 15.5% increase in the average tuition in recent years. At these online colleges the average tuition each year in 2007 was $12,609.

A yearly tuition of over $22,240 is charged by the costliest schools that have online masters degree in business programs. On the other end of the spectrum, tuition in the range of $970 to $6,128 each year is charged by the cheapest schools. The least costly accredited online business masters degree schools are located in Florida, Massachusetts, New Mexico, North Carolina, and Texas.

Of all business graduates with masters degrees from online colleges across the country, approximately 29% graduated from these low tuition programs in 2011. This represents 1,037,869 of the 3,576,666 graduates from across the country. From 2006 to 2011, the number of business graduates with masters degrees from the least costly online colleges has increased by 11,626 graduates per annum. However, the percentage of graduates from these colleges has decreased.

Other somewhat more costly online business masters degree colleges charge a yearly tuition in the range of $6,216 to $13,100. Of the 404 online colleges and universities with masters degrees in business programs in the nation, 131 offer programs with tuition in this range.

In 2011, 30.2% of the country’s business masters level graduates received their credentials from these reasonably priced online programs. This represents 1,079,587 students. A short 5 years prior, in 2006, the number of students graduating from these colleges and universities was only 755,395. Thus, from these low tuition online colleges and universities, the number of graduates has increased by 43%.
