A per annum average tuition of $11,286 is charged by colleges and universities with online real estate programs across the nation. There has been a 32.2% increase in the average tuition over the past few years. The annual average tuition was $8,538 at these online schools in 2007.

At the high end, schools offering online real estate programs charge students more than $17,730 in tuition per year. The cheapest schools, however, charge students annual tuition costs ranging from $624 to $728. California is home to the least expensive accredited online real estate schools.

Of all real estate graduates from online colleges across the country, a reported 6% graduated from these affordable programs in 2011. Therefore, of the 143,773 graduates from across the country, 7,903 are from the least costly colleges. Between 2006 and 2011, the number of real estate graduates from the least expensive online colleges and universities has increased by 435 graduates annually, while the percentage of graduates from these colleges and universities has decreased.

Yearly tuition in the range of $1,968 to $3,354 is charged by other somewhat more costly online real estate colleges and universities. Of the 14 online colleges and universities offering real estate programs in the nation, 3 charge tuition in this range.

A reported 25,436 students earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. This is 18% of the nation’s real estate graduates. In 2006, which was only 5 years earlier, only 20,274 students graduated from these colleges. Thus, the number of graduates from these affordable online colleges has increased by 26%.
