Online Marketing Degrees Ranked by Cost of Tuition

An annual median tuition of $10,320 is charged by colleges that offer online marketing programs in the US. The median tuition has increased in recent years. This change in tuition was around 19.2%. In 2007, the median tuition was $8,661 annually at these online colleges.

Tuition of more than $19,800 each year is charged by the most expensive online marketing colleges. On the other end of the spectrum, annual tuition at the cheapest schools is in the range of $576 to $4,470. The accredited online marketing schools that are the most inexpensive are located in Florida, Kansas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Wyoming.

In 2011, roughly 16% of marketing graduates from online colleges across the country earned credentials from these reasonably priced programs. Therefore, of the 1,137,876 graduates from around the US, 184,092 are from the most inexpensive schools. Between 2006 and 2011, the percentage of marketing graduates from the lowest cost online schools has decreased, while the number of graduates has increased by 8,135 graduates per year.

Other somewhat more costly online marketing schools charge a yearly tuition in the range of $4,476 to $9,720. Of the 185 online colleges and universities that have marketing programs in the nation, 42 have tuition in this range.

A reported 31.1%, or 353,391 of the nation’s marketing graduates earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. The number of students graduating from these colleges was only 267,641 students in 2006, which was only 5 years prior. Therefore, the number of students graduating from these reasonably priced online colleges has increased by 32%.
