On the other hand, tuition charged by the cheapest colleges ranges from $3,002 to $5,452 yearly. This represents 338,507 of the 1,388,471 graduates from across the country. Between 2006 and 2011, the percentage of teaching graduates with bachelors degrees from the lowest cost online schools has decreased, while the number of graduates has increased by 51,063 graduates per year.

Other somewhat more costly online teaching bachelors degree colleges and universities charge a yearly tuition in the range of $5,464 to $9,030. An estimated 26 of the 97 online schools that offer bachelors degrees in teaching programs in the US charge tuition in this range.

In 2011, 38.2% of the country’s teaching bachelors level graduates received their credentials from these reasonably priced online programs. This represents 531,084 students. Only 5 years prior, in 2006, only 440,116 students earned credentials from these colleges. Thus, from these low tuition online colleges and universities, the number of graduates has increased by 21%.
