This change in tuition was around 27.1%. In 2007, the median tuition at these online schools was $6,736 per year.

From 2006 to 2011, the percentage of mathematics education graduates with bachelors degrees from the most inexpensive online schools has decreased. However, the number of graduates has increased by 18,415 graduates per year.

Other somewhat more expensive cost online mathematics education bachelors degree colleges charge students tuition ranging from $5,297 to $7,070 annually. An estimated 2 of the 10 online schools that offer bachelors degrees in mathematics education programs in the US charge tuition in this range.

A reported 72,446 students earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. This is 38% of the nation’s mathematics education bachelors level graduates. The number of graduates from these schools was only 60,784 students, just 5 years earlier, in 2006. Thus, the number of graduates from these affordable online colleges has increased by 19%.
