An average tuition of $13,560 annually is charged by colleges and universities across the nation with online PhD in public administration programs. Over the past few years, the average tuition has increased by 1.9%. In 2007, the average tuition at these online colleges was $13,309 per annum.

Georgia and Nebraska are home to the lowest cost accredited online public administration doctorate program schools.

Other somewhat more expensive cost online public administration PhD colleges charge students tuition ranging from $5,484 to $6,216 yearly. Tuition in this range is charged by 2 of the 10 online colleges with doctorate programs in public administration programs in the country.

A reported 11.1%, or 26,044 of the nation’s public administration doctorate level graduates earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. Only 16,885 students graduated from these schools, just 5 years earlier, in 2006. Therefore, the number of students graduating from these cheap online colleges has increased by 54%.
