Online PhD Programs in Art Ranked From Lowest to Highest Tuition

Only 3 online PhD in art schools exist in the country. These online doctorate degree program in art colleges can also be referred to as art and design colleges. A median yearly tuition of $7,793 is charged by these colleges and universities. There has been a 8.9% decrease in the median tuition over the past few years. The yearly median tuition was $8,553 at these online colleges in 2007.

Tuition of about $14,412 annually is charged by the most expensive school with online PhD in art programs. The cheapest school however, has a tuition of $3,530 per annum.

In 2011, roughly 33% of art graduates with PhD from online colleges across the US earned credentials from these least costly programs at UF. This represents 61,161 of the 184,712 graduates from across the country. Between 2006 and 2011, the number of art graduates with doctorate degree programs from the least expensive programs at UF has decreased by 21,399 graduates per year, while the percentage of graduates from these schools has also decreased.

Approximately 35.8% of the nation’s art doctoral level graduates earned their degrees from these low tuition online programs at Arizona State University in 2011. This represents 66,161 students. Thus, from these low tuition online programs at ASU, the number of graduates has decreased by 100%.
