The least expensive accredited online schools are located in Alamosa, Denver, Glenwood Springs, Greeley, and Westminster.

From 2006 to 2011, the percentage of graduates from the most inexpensive online schools has decreased. However, the number of graduates has increased by 13,709 graduates per year.

Tuition ranging from $5,256 to $10,440 per year is charged by other somewhat more expensive schools. Of the 29 online colleges and universities that offer programs in Colorado, 7 charge students tuition in this range.

In 2011, 51%, or 84,849 of the state’s graduates received their certificates from these cheap online programs. In 2006, which was only 5 years earlier, only 59,027 students graduated from these colleges. Therefore, the number of students graduating from these reasonably priced online colleges has increased by 44%.
