Colleges in the US that have online associates degree in healthcare programs require students to pay an average tuition of $13,978 per year. In recent years, there has been a 16.2% increase in the average tuition. In 2007, the yearly average tuition was $12,028 at these online colleges.

A yearly tuition of over $16,500 is charged by the costliest online associates degree in healthcare colleges and universities. The cheapest colleges and universities, however, charge students per annum tuition costs ranging from $1,356 to $4,678. Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, and North Carolina are home to the least costly accredited online healthcare associates degree schools.

Therefore, of the 339,483 graduates from across the country, 35,461 are from the most inexpensive colleges. Between 2006 and 2011, the number of healthcare graduates with associates degrees from the least expensive online colleges and universities has increased by 14,581 graduates annually, while the percentage of graduates from these colleges and universities has decreased.

Yearly tuition in the range of $5,280 to $11,948 is charged by other somewhat more costly online healthcare associates degree colleges. Tuition in this range is charged by 14 of the 67 online colleges offering associates degrees in healthcare programs in the country.

In 2011, 36,210 students received their credentials from these reasonably priced online programs. This represents 11% of the country’s healthcare associates level graduates. In 2006, which was just 5 years earlier, as much as 42,435 students graduated from these schools. This is a 15% decrease in the number of students graduating from these reasonably priced online schools.
