The cheapest schools, on the other hand, require students to pay tuition in the range of $990 to $3,243 per year. Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Massachusetts, and Texas are home to the lowest cost accredited online art schools.

Between 2006 and 2011, the percentage of art graduates from the lowest cost online colleges has decreased, while the number of graduates has increased by 41,111 graduates yearly.
Yearly tuition in the range of $3,255 to $6,964 is charged by other somewhat more costly online art colleges. Of the 39 online colleges and universities with art programs in the nation, 10 offer programs with tuition in this range.
A reported 25.7%, or 139,658 of the nation’s art graduates earned their degrees and certificates from these affordable online programs in 2011. The number of graduates from these colleges and universities was only 108,729 students, a short 5 years earlier, in 2006. Therefore, from these reasonably priced online colleges and universities, the number of students graduating has increased by 28%.
