Colleges that offer online masters degree in healthcare programs in the US, charge an annual median tuition of $10,386. Over the past few years, the median tuition has increased by 24.1%. At these online colleges and universities the median tuition yearly in 2007 was $8,370.

Tuition of more than $23,950 each year is charged by the most expensive online masters degree in healthcare colleges. However, the cheapest colleges charge students yearly tuition costs ranging from $970 to $5,461. The accredited online healthcare masters degree schools that are the lowest cost are located in Florida, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Of all healthcare graduates with masters degrees from online colleges across the country, a reported 28% graduated from these affordable programs in 2011. Therefore, of the 3,971,512 graduates from around the US, 1,093,450 are from the least costly schools. Between 2006 and 2011, the percentage of healthcare graduates with masters degrees from the lowest cost online colleges has decreased, while the number of graduates has increased by 43,839 graduates yearly.

Other somewhat more costly online healthcare masters degree colleges and universities charge a yearly tuition in the range of $5,472 to $10,386. Tuition in this range is charged by 95 of the 337 online colleges offering masters degrees in healthcare programs in the country.

In 2011, 36% of the nation’s healthcare masters level graduates earned their degrees from these low tuition online programs. This represents 1,431,646 students. In 2006, which was a short 5 years earlier, only 1,073,513 students graduated from these colleges and universities. Thus, the number of graduates from these low tuition online colleges has increased by 33%.
