However, the number of graduates has increased by 77,745 graduates per year.

Tuition ranging from $5,340 to $9,720 annually is charged by other somewhat more expensive online education bachelors degree colleges and universities. Of the 349 online colleges and universities that have bachelors degrees in education programs in the nation, 88 have tuition in this range.

In 2011, 36.7% of the nation’s education bachelors level graduates earned their degrees from these low tuition online programs. This represents 1,388,590 students. Only 1,255,017 students earned credentials from these colleges in 2006, which was only 5 years prior. Thus, the number of graduates from these affordable online colleges has increased by 11%.
